Yin Lu is a third year university student from QUT Kelvin Grove, studying Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) and Fashion Communication as a second major. Yin has showcased her artwork at Brisbane RAW artists; and participated as as one of the graffiti participants for the "Nanxian International Graffiti & Leisure Farm Festival". Her artistic style is mostly black and white, horror, female-based, intricate and detailed. She loves to use black ink and acrylic paint A LOT.
Artwork Title: Twinnie Melody
Artist Statement: The "Twinnie Melody" design is inspired by last year's BIGSOUND artistic style, the imagery of the Chinese Zodiac with 2018 being the year of the dog and the traditional red Chinese paper-cuttings which are prominent in Chinese culture and folk art which has always interested and inspired the artist.
