Screen Queensland is coming to BIGSOUND for the first time with its sqhub hosting an exclusive networking event for screen, music and games practitioners on Tuesday 4th September, 5.30pm at the BIGSOUND Social Hub @ X Cargo.
This event will feature four activation spaces which featured at SXSW 2018 as well as a local Screen Queensland supported game developer who recently launched a mobile game on iOS.
The activation spaces include:
KINDERGO - Pull up a comfy chair, pop on some headphones and let yourself get lost in the gorgeous storyworld of KINDERGO. A spellbinding platform for 2-5 year olds that encourages literacy through kick-ass storytelling and unique interaction, from Like A Photon Creative.
INSIDE MANUS - Harnessing the immersive power of virtual reality, Inside Manus goes beyond the razor wire fences and inside Australia’s offshore processing detention camp on Manus Island. A Cutting Edge, Hoodlum and Chemical Media production, written and directed by Lucas Taylor.
SUPER DROP LAND - Super Drop Land is a vertical mobile arcade game by Lamington Games about falling, chasing rabbits and running from spooky ghosts.
HAND OF FATE 2 - A new hero rises to challenge the Dealer in Hand of Fate 2 on Nintendo Switch from Defiant Development.
