#Details

Brian Zabinski has spent the past half a decade or so working closely with small, independent musicians, assisting them in navigating the complex and occasionally terrifying world of obtaining a US visa. His organisation, Tamizdat, is a Brooklyn-based non-profit who are on the forefront of research, education, and advocacy in matters of US artist visas. These people know what they’re talking about and, following presentations at just about all of the biggest music conferences on the planet (name it and they’ve probably been there) they’re keen to help Australian musicians make their visa application process as smooth as possible.

There are two types of people in this world: lucky people, and those who’ve had to deal with carnets at some stage in their life. Thankfully there are people like Shelley Hankins from Cargo Live who can help make the process seem a whole lot less intimidating and help you and your artists get the documentation needed to get your gear into a foreign country.

If RSVP's are exhausted it is advised to turn up to this session anyway in case space is made available.
