Born from creative frustration, artistic adoration and a hollaback history of bad decisions, comes The Culprit Club.
Since the gallery's launch in July 2016, The Culprit Club has independently supported over 300 artists through exclusive solo, group art exhibitions and creative collaboration events. After a massive expansion in July 2018, the culprit club now operate from a large-scale gallery and retail space at the very front of Winn Lane, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane and have extended their creative services to offer live in store music and art performances and artist studio residencies. The new store location also boasts an ongoing instore collaboration with local vintage sportswear retailer, Lil J's Vintage.
The Culprit Club's motive is motivation. We aim to exhibit the best of Australia's creative counterparts. Our intention is to create, collaborate, accept, expand, educate and inform by connecting communities and creatives through art. Our gallery walls and studio spaces express the voices and visions of those often unheard, and continue to speak loudly to all who're willing to listen.
