Allen Christensen is an AFL player with the Brisbane Football Club, having joined the Lions from Geelong at the end of the 2014 season. He has experienced the highs and lows that an AFL career has to offer, from being a member of the Cat’s 2011 Premiership team in his debut year, to spending considerable time on the sidelines with significant injuries whilst at the Cats, and again at the Lions. To date he has played a little more than 100 games, and kicked just under 100 goals and represents AFL players in talking about his experiences with mental health throughout his career.
