Joel Edmondson is the QMusic CEO; 2018 will be his fourth year leading the delivery of BIGSOUND. Joel has worked as a sound designer, in music tech R&D, venue and label management, as well as as an organisational change consultant. He was a founding member of the legendary Brisbane DIY warehouse venue The Hangar, and is a distinction alumnus of the University of Edinburgh's Institute of Music in Human and Social Development (IMHSD). Joel also produces music in the experimental/ambient and country genres.
